Why Was The Stone Rolled Away?

Today was Resurrection Day; as the congregation worshipped, proclaiming the fact that He-Jesus-is Risen,
the thought dropped suddenly into me straight from Holy Spirit about the stone. Not just any stone but THE STONE–the one that had stood sealing shut the entrance to the Garden Tomb after Yeshua was laid there… Scripture tells us in John 20 that Yeshua entered a room by simply walking through the wall, so why in Matthew 28 did an angel need to come and roll away this gigantic oblisk from in front of a tomb that the Lord could just walk right through?
It was not done for His benefit, but for ours.
God knows that Thomas was not the only one who struggled with doubting.
He knew that the stone being set aside at the time Yeshua rose, even though it had been sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers, would speak encouragement to those who needed it most, starting with His mother, His followers, and those who would testify to others and then to the next generation.
Perhaps there is a “stone” in your life, beloved,  that needs to be rolled out of the way, dispelling fear, doubt, discouragement, and unbelief.
Let His light shine!
